1. What are the Recycling Center Hours?

Summer Recycling Center Hours are April 1st through November 30th Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Winter Recycling Center Hours are December 1st through March 31st Saturdays ONLY from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

2. What items can I take to the Recycling Center?

The recycling center accepts yard waste (leaves, branches), scrap metal, #1 & #2 plastics, cardboard, newspaper, magazines, household mail, used motor oil, used antifreeze, cans, and appliances (refrigerators, dehumidifiers, air conditioners). It does not accept any construction (wood, drywall) and tires.  Please call are see attached for more information.

3. How do I get my garbage picked up?

The City of New Berlin contracts with Advanced Disposal for residential garbage/recycling pickup. This amount is included on your tax bill.
