New Berlin WI – In response to the recent storms and continued power outages, the City of New Berlin will be extending a special drop off opportunity for food disposal on Tuesday August 17th, 10 am – 7 pm at the New Berlin Recycling Center located at 3711 S Casper Drive. Dedicated food disposal dumpsters will be available on this day/time only. If your refrigerator has not been running for more than 4 hours, the majority of items inside are recommended to be thrown out.
The Recycling Center will of course also be open for yard waste, fallen trees and yard debris as well as other normally accepted items. Please be reminded, that as usual, the recycling center is open to residents only and proof of residency is required (Driver’s License, Utility Bill, etc). Also please be aware that the Recycling Center is closed Monday August 16th. Check the city’s website for further days/times of operation.
