With winter fast approaching, the City of New Berlin’s Electronic Recycling Program will be ending for the season effective October 29, 2020. The normal electronic recycling hours until October 29th will remain 8 AM to 1 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays at the City’s Municipal Garage located at 16550 W. National Avenue. This electronic recycling program is a coordinated effort with Refrigerant Depot LLC to provide New Berlin residents with an electronic recycling alternative. The normal Electronic Recycling schedule will resume on April 5, 2021.
However, in an effort to assist residents with their post-holiday electronics recycling, the City will hold a “Special Electronic Recycling Week” January 4th thru January 7th. The City’s Municipal Garage will be accepting eligible electronic items Monday thru Thursday of that week, 8 am to 1 pm. Residents are encouraged to mark their calendars and refer to the City’s Electronic Recycling Website at https://www.newberlin.org/458/Electronics-Recycling for additional information, as well as any costs that may be applicable to this program.
