Waukesha County Public Works has released information for public review and comment about the proposed resurfacing of the County Highway D (Cleveland Avenue) in the City of New Berlin. The objective of this information is to spread awareness of the purpose and need for the project, and to gather public input on the proposed improvements. It is found at www.WaukeshaCounty.gov/CountyD.
The project is located on County Highway D (Cleveland Avenue) from Calhoun Road to the east county line (124th Street). This 3.0-mile project is scheduled for construction in summer 2021. The project includes resurfacing asphalt pavement, rehabilitation of one bridge structure, replacement of curb and gutter, and guardrail. The roadway will remain open to traffic during the project.
Feedback from the public is encouraged; instructions on submitting questions, comments, and concerns are found at the link above. Representatives from Waukesha County and the design team will review and address any questions or concerns received.
