Swearing-in Ceremony for Police Chief

January 3rd, 2019 – 5 pm

Council Chambers, New Berlin City Hall

New Berlin, WI - The public is invited to attend the swearing-in ceremony for New Berlin’s new Police Chief Jeffrey Hingiss, on Thursday, January 3rd, 2019 in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 3805 S Casper Drive. The event is slated to begin at 5 pm and will also include the City’s heartfelt expressions of gratitude and best wishes to the City’s current Police Chief, Joseph Rieder, who is retiring after serving as Chief since 2007.

“We look forward to the leadership skills of Jeff Hingiss and believe him to be the right person to oversee the safety of our fine City into the next decade,” stated Ted Wysocki, Chairman of the PFC. “Jeff will have some big shoes to fill with the retirement of our current, highly respected Police Chief, and we have full confidence in his abilities. I encourage all to attend and wish them both all the best moving forward.”
