The New Berlin Police Department will be hosting a check presentation ceremony in the municipal courtroom, 16300 W. National Avenue, to celebrate the upcoming purchase of two police canines. Funds for one of the canines were raised through community donations, spearheaded by the New Berlin Police Citizen’s Academy Alumni Association. The second dog will be purchased with the money donated by Mr. Stan Kass. Mr. Kass will be presenting a check to Chief Joseph Rieder at the ceremony. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend this ceremony. Wednesday, February 20th at 2:45 p.m.
