  • A request for a Voluntary Sketch Plan/Conceptual Review has been submitted for a 27-lot single family subdivision located at 20685-20695 W. National Avenue (Tax Key #'s: 1276-999-002, 1276-999001, 1276-993 & 1276-991).
  • The applicant has filed a petition to rezone from Q-1, R-1.R-2, and C-2 to R-7, Q-1 and C-2 for the properties located at 20685-20695 W. National Avenue (Tax Key #'s: 1276-999-002, 1276-999001, 1276-993 & 1276-991)..
  • The applicant has filed a petition to amend the Future Land Use Map within the City’s Comprehensive Plan (Chapter 10 – Land Use and Chapter 20 – “Neighborhood J”) from Park to Quarry Park Residential for the properties located at 20685-20695 W. National Avenue (Tax Key #’s: 1276-999-001, 1276-999-002, 1276-993, & 1279-991).  

Note: The Common Council approved a new Zoning District R-7 that was approved via Ordinance No. 2642 on October 13, 2020.

Staff is preparing the 2030 Comprehensive Plan Updates to Chapter 10, Land Use, and it includes a new Future Land Use Category, Quarry Park Residential, to encompass the transition of Quarry Park from “Park” to “Quarry Park Residential". 

The impetus for the 2030 Comprehensive Plan update was for a 27 lot subdivision to be developed by Neumann Development LLC*.  Please note this change will include other basic changes to these chapters.  This will represent the first public hearing for the 2030 Comprehensive Plan updates. Additional public hearings will be set up to handle the remaining chapters at a future date.

 *There is a pending offer to purchase for Quarry Park.
