This project includes an application for a Conditional Use Permit for for a PDQ Food Stores located within the City Center development at approximately 15055 W. National Avenue The Plan Commission discussed the proposal and concept plan at the November 9, 2016 meeting. At the December 5, 2016 Plan Commission meeting, the Commission made the determination that “Automotive Fuel Sales” is an allowed conditional use within City Center PUD. A public hearing on the proposal will be held before the Plan Commission on March 30, 2017 starting at 6:00 PM at New Berlin City Hall. The Plan Commission is expected to take action on the Conditional Use permit on April 13, 2017. That meeting begins at 4:30 PM at City Hall.
This project also includes the construction of an open air shelter to be the new home of the New Berlin Farmer's Market. The shelter will also be used for seasonal sales of sod, flowers, garden plants, pumpkins and Christmas trees. A plaza on the corner of Michelle Witmer Drive and Library Lane will provide a public gathering area as well. This project will be introduced and discussed at the March 30, 2017 Plan Commission meeting and action is expected on April 13, 2017.
