The City of New Berlin requires a license for dogs and cats that are five months of age or older and have had their rabies shots. Licenses are valid for the calendar year. You may purchase this license in person Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, at the cashier's window on the first floor of City Hall:
3805 S. Casper Dr.
New Berlin, WI 53151
License requests can also be made by mail. Simply complete the application form
, send it to the cashier's office with a self-addressed stamped envelope, and the license will be mailed to you. For your convenience, there is also a brown drop box in the lower level parking lot of City Hall. Please remember that a rabies vaccination certificate is required
and must accompany the application. A copy is acceptable and will be returned. Staff members do not have time to call veterinarians; therefore, licenses will not be issued without the form.
