Code compliance is ensuring that City of New Berlin Municipal Zoning Codes and Ordinances are being followed; business and residential properties are in compliance, Zoning Permits are followed, and construction sites comply and maintain erosion control measures.
The Code Compliance Specialist investigates zoning code complaints and pursues violations with violation letters, stop work orders, or citations.
For a complaint to be investigated, the Code Compliance Specialist needs the following information: - Complainant’s name, phone number and/or address
- Address or location of where the suspected violation is occurring.
- Information and description of problem.
