The Mission of the Assessor's Office is to list and value all taxable property within the City of New Berlin in accordance with Chapter 70 of the Wisconsin statutes. It is our responsibility to provide uniform property values so that the burden of taxes is distributed as fairly and equitably as possible under current law. We realize that the people we serve do not always understand the laws and processes. Therefore, we make a concerted effort to make the assessment process understandable for the general public. It is our job to help educate the public about the statutes and perform our work in a courteous, professional manner.
